Eventiada IPRA GWA 2021 Shortlist Announced

The shortlist of the largest communications award in Eastern Europe, the CIS and Central Asia, Eventiada IPRA GWA, a regional partner of the IPRA Golden World Award, a global competition held since 1990 by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), has been published. Since 2020 Eventiada IPRA GWA has joined IPRA Golden World Awards in supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals and in 2021 it awards best campaigns in ESG categories and regional categories. This year marks the introduction of the PR Visionnaire, a new personal award, which will acknowledge the most outstanding professionals for their vision of the future of the industry and the creation of new trends in communications.

Alexey Safronov, President of Eventiada IPRA GWA, President of Elefante Porter Novelli (Orta Communications Group): "This season we have a record number of participating countries, 15. The number of applications has increased by 20%. The ESG, the UN SDG, as well as other social campaigns are especially popular this year. Traditionally corporate and marketing categories are attracting a lot of attention too. This year shows a sharp increase in employee branding and internal communications campaigns. Winners will be announced on December 7 and published in EU Reporter. Due to current dynamics with COVID and the difficulty of international travel, the in-person Gala ceremony will not take place this year. Instead, a number of strategic sessions and round tables is being scheduled until the end of the year and early next year. They will be focused on reviewing key trends in communications in the region, as unveiled by the award and include Eventiada IPRA GWA jury and winners.” The shortlist is now available at www.eventiada.com. Winners in all nominations, Grand Prix and Sustainable Development Grand Prix laureates as well as personal nominations will be announced on December 7 by EU Reporter.

This season Eventiada IPRA GWA covers 15 countries: Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Tajikistan and Turkey. It brings together the largest multinational and national corporations, global and local NGOs, governments, network and independent agencies and, of course, the creative youth.
